Respond Now Outreach staff will give a brief presentation on the appilcation process for SNAP and Medicaid. Then they will be available to answer questions and to take contact information for individuals looking for help applying.

With the critical support of many volunteers and contributions from the community, Respond Now provides a host of essential services to over 12,000 people in need. Respond Now is a United Way sponsored agency with funding from private donations, government grants, and corporate and foundation support. Respond Now is rated in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.

Respond Now exists to provide immediate relief for residents of Chicago’s south suburbs who are in the most need while maintaining their dignity and affording them respect. 

They do this by:

• Helping people through their temporary emergencies with financial assistance
• Providing food to families and individuals in need
• Providing sound referrals and counseling for other needed services
